Executive Order 8802 Dated June 25, 1941, in which President Franklin D. Roosevelt Prohibits Discrimination in the Defense Program Executive Order 8802 Dated June 25. Executive Order 8802, executive order enacted on June 25, 1941, by U.S. Roosevelt that helped to eliminate racial discrimination in the U.S. Defense industry and was an important step toward ending it in federal government employment practices overall.
